Unlocked Storm 9530 browser settings

I got storm 9530 and it was locked to verizon. I unlock it and it is working fine except that i can not use the browser and i do not know how to make the settings for that, please help me.

What carrier are you using it on?
Do you have an active BlackBerry Data Plan?

I also have an unlocked Storm that is on AT&T. I installed Opera Mini to have a temp browser to use the internet. When I plug into the device manager, the OS and Browser arent clickable. I tried upgrading and downgrading. nothing changes, on the device menu it show no browser configuration and no email push options, I did this process for an 8530i converting from Sprint to Boost mobile and dont know why i'm having so much trouble.

I would appreciate any help possible.
