I just recently bought an Unlocked Blackberry 9530 and I was told it would work with my T-Mobile SIM card without any problems... except when I put in the SIM card, and rebooted the device several times, did a battery pull, the works, it continues to tell me at the top "Insert SIM Card" and then the networking thing next to it says SOS

I have to admit, I'm not the most tech savvy person, but I'm not understanding if I did something wrong, or if they lied and my T-Mobile network won't work with this phone. I believe the phone is unlocked, so I don't think I have to go through anything to do that myself, but is there something I can do to make the T-Mobile network work? All I want to be able to do is make calls and send texts, if I can get that much to work, I'll be a happy camper!!

Did you ever figure it out? Because I am having the same problem with my 9530
