my browser app button is gone and when I hold down the button it does not even show up anywhere how do I get it back. I have an unlocked storm running on ATT

You have installed all your service books, and adjusted the settings right? The link that is in the first post has all the help you will ever need.

I followed the link there is no browser button there use to be it is gone now. I have been running the phone since I did that link 6 months now. It is as if there never was a brower button it is just gone not hiding anywhere that I can find.

So did you do before you noticed it gone? Have you recently updated your OS?

yep I upgraded the OS it was there but then I had to do the crack utility and serivce books again and somewhere after that it went away. So I did again the service books and crack utility today and it is still not there.

It may be hidden...on your full home screen, hit the BB button, then hit show all. If it pops up, unhide it, if that didn't do the trick, sorry I wasn't help. You can also set 1 of your convenience keys to the browser as a shortcut until you figure it out.

when i wipe my old hand held 8900 does it wipe my notes and tasks as well
