unlocked 9530 and Canada

hello CB. In currently taking a short trip up to Canada and bringing my unlocked storm as the thread indicates. I was just curious if anyone on CB could tell me how I can cheaply use data while in Canada. I would love to still use bbm but not rack up an enormous phone bill. Thanks in advance.

If its unlocked maybe get a local sim card on a carrier that supports BB, see if they may even do prepaid

To use BlackBerry Messenger you need a BIS plan - and I don't believe there is a prepaid BlackBerry data provider in Canada. Even if there was, your phone is already registered on a BIS with your current provider and it isn't so easy to switch back and forth.

If all you're using is BBM, your data usage will be minimal.
