Hi,

I have the 9500 which when bought the guy says it's unlocked. When I put my sim in I can use the phones etc, however when I tried to send the service books to activate emails/bb messenger etc I try registering my PIN / IMEI but this message pops up:

"the information you have provided is not valid for this service provider"

Can anyone help? Really want to start using this soon :-(

From what I read in another thread, this can apparently come up when the Hand Held is registered with another carrier's BIS...

i.e. A Vodaphone 9500 was purchased, used with Vodaphone, setup with BIS email from them... then unlocked, sold to someone trying to use on T-Mobile... BUT the originaly Vodaphone owner didn't delete their BIS account first.
