I am trying to delete all prior messages, but when I do I get an untaught exception saying net_rim_bb_messaging_app(85) had to close. I did a search but
didn't find the solution to this particular error. A battery pull does not solve it.

Just in case anyone finds this in a search and needs a solution. HRT can be found under Options > Advanced Options. Hit the BB button and select register now.
