    I am unable to use my Storm 9530 as a tethered modem. Called verizon and they stated that Smith Micro stated the current VZAM is not compatible. I know some of you guys/girls are surfing so could you please lend a hand. Thanks a million in advance for any help rendered. I had to go back to 4.7.0.148 to tether.

    I'm using Tetherberry now without any problem on 5.0 Storm, haven't tried tethering through device manager yet.

    I tether through vzwam and have no problem whatsoever....worked fine from day 1 of upgrade to 5.0.328

    If I get Terherberrry do I need to have VZW data plan in place for it to work?

    I had made a mistake, I had VZW turn off my tethering fee ($15 p/m) but still have my data plan unlimited.
