Try sending the first 3 host routing tables, and do a battery pull, that should fix your issue.

I'm no expert. Did you follow steps 1, 2, & 3 to get the proper service books loaded?

Yes i did. when i was on the 4.7 version i was able to receive pictures but not send, but i upgraded to the 5.0 and can't even receive pictures. I also noticed i had less service books after the upgrade.. Txt's are working fine though.

After you upgraded to 5.0 (which 5.0 do you have?) did you redo the steps for the service books?

Also, .419 works better on the Storm, to me. Pop-up buttons while typing is a winner!

No, .419 is a leak. .328 is the official Verizon and will appear in DM.

I would suggest you get your current issue resolved first, then update.
