Same here only that it different depending on email service. My hotmail takes about 10 - 15 minutes where my gmail is only a few seconds.

I had slow results with my local isp, messages would take forever or sometimes they would download to my computer and not to my phone at all. I created a gmail account and had my isp send a copy of everything to the gmail account. Then I set up the gmail account on my Storm. Now I get everything in a timely manner.

Some variable amount of delay is to be expected when using BIS. 15 minutes is a bit on the long end from my experience, but not unheard of. If it's taking 15 minutes with BES, that's a different story.

    Using the following:

    vzw.blackberry.net
    gmail
    yahoo
    hotmail

All four are basically withing 20-30 seconds of sending. Charlotte, NC Metro Verizon. Curious if performance is due to location as well.

My wife has a Curve and it comes though instantly. Any idea's if its a setting or is it just the Storm OS??

I have 3 Email addresses on my phone. Yahoo, Hotmail, and a work email. Yahoo and Hotmail are fairly instant my work email however can take up to 15 minutes to come through. I think that it has to do with the mail server that my work email comes from.
