Will the Thunder be able to take advantage of 4g or LTE when Verizon gets that far?

    Uh, LTE is 4G

There's no true facts ruled out yet about what kind of broadband it will use.

LTE/4G is still a good bit off in future.

Verizon's EVDO has been around for at least 4 years. It's AT&T that's just starting their 3G roll out.

Guess that's the price AT&T paid to switch from TDMA to GSM while Verizon stuck with CDMA and invested in 3G.

T-Mobile has yet to introduce 3G but they are much smaller in comparison to the other carriers.

Your more likely to see a similar model on sprints wimax before LTE.... We'll be well into teen models before we see LTE (11k 12 etc if they keep naming this way).

Maybe in the US, but not globally

Yeah EVDO is mainly in the US only as it goes along with CDMA carriers.

    Take baby steps...

Worry about 3G now, 4G later.
