Okay so I've heard several folks comment on how they have 43MB

I just recently loaded 151, great OS BTW, and I had 43MB, then I loaded only a few of my essential apps and BAM! I had 19MB left.

So those that have 43MB what do you have installed on your phone... are are you naked!

I'm usually around 30-40, and I have a TON of apps I love how 151 keeps my memory above 30 almost always. Since 151 I stopped obsessing about memopry.

I have 26 apps right now. And im always steady around 35mb. Did you restore all of your third party apps or download them manually like you did the first time? I heard around here that it works better if you download fresh and not just restore them all at once from a back up.

i boot up with 38mb naked with .151. i dunno how some ppl get 50mb+ at start up. i have about 40 apps and 1 theme and i end up booting up at 23mb and have it drop to about 19mb in 6hrs. by end of day, i'll be around 10mb but i have quick pull set to reboot everyday at 5:30am so that takes care of that.

if u guys have any suggestions on how to increase my app memory, lemme know!

I got memory leak under control by doing a handheld wipe and OS reinstall and took out items that I do not use. Even with .148 I booted up with 50 some megs. When I backed up I only backed up contacts . Emails and bookmarks. I will not take credit for this as I read about it in these forums but I thought of passing it on. Hope the helps

i've never booted up with over 45mb. i've done numerous wipes and even on .148, its still the same. with .151, i get 38mb at boot up after a wipe and completely naked.

i've deleted all but 10 emails total from my 3 email accounts, only kept the last 2 weeks of text msgs (about 50) and reinstalled each app individually from their respective ota links. i've even gone and used bbfilescout and deleted oem wallpapers, vids, mp3's etc....

i've only used 50mb outta the 879.2mb of on device memory. i'm currently at 829mb of free on device memory.

i have no clue on how u guys get 50mb+ with a naked storm and 40mb+ with over 30 apps.

i wish i could get my storm to perform like that. on a side note, my storm runs mint with no problems at all! i love my storm

I'm running 20 apps on my Curve 8330, one of which is Quickpull, which is set to re-boot my device if my memory drops below 20MB, and it rarely ever prompts me, but where do I go on my phone to check and see exactly how much memory I have left at any given time?

i only have one theme and that's the zen remix from rockee (crackberry member). the theme is only 201kb. afterall, its only the stock theme with a few minor adjustments like hidden today, 2 extra icons in the top banner and it also allows u to click on the time to have the clock display, click on battery to have the options display and clicking on the signal strength will display manage connections.

even without this theme, my app memory doesn't change much. i'll boot up with 23.xmb without it and once i add it on, it'll still be 23.xmb.

i know where my memory leaks are from, its from ubertwitter (v0.78......just upgraded to v0.909 so i dunno if this fixes the issue) and from my wallpapershuffle app.

i just wish i had 40mb+ with all my apps. then i could seriously say that i have one of the top storms in my time zone!

shrink-a-os helps with the 50+ naked, after that it just depends on the size of the apps. BBM is like 2 MBs so if you dont use that take it off

Hm I wonder if this is the key. I had 151 with one theme and I never had more memory than 19MB.

After installing Pandora received a the "552 App load error" and had to reinstall my OS.

I just rebuilt it and installed only the essentials and no theme, now I have 35MB but still not even close to 45MB.

To the folks with 45+ do you delete the useless data that comes with the BB like photos and that Babylon trailer? If so how did you all do that?

I stay at 43.1 on startup, like clockwork on .151 even on a 3-4 days with no quickpull it hardly goes below 30-35. .151 is great

Naked I boot about 59 -61, but with all my essentials, I'm booting about 48 - 50, I never drop below 40, and it always comes back within a couple of hours.

The secret is "Shrink-A-OS" by lyricidal. Awesome program.

Not all of them. I'm using theme now (this one), no problem with memory. I've used another theme (this one) prior, no problem either. Hit or miss as to which themes are well coded and which are not. These two are solid.

I boot up with 37.2MB, I have more than 35 apps on my phone, also have three themes (including the default theme). Memory running for several days and holds strong. I rebooted yesterday (due to new app update installed), 24 hours later I am at 36.8MB! Other than the usual drop at boot-up as files cache, my memory has held unchanged now for every 30 minute update as captured by MeterBerry.

I've found that the RMS Database bloat/corruption seems to cause most of the leakage issues. I just cleaned up my database a couple days ago, obviously holding SOLID on memory, and running a theme

Where do you clear that? I havej Pandora, Google Maps, Google Sync, Word Mole, Amazon, VZW Song ID, Facebook, AIM, GTalk, Forward, reply, and edit. I also have the basic stuff like the calculator , tasks, memmeo, calendar, etc. I took off all the other VZW stuff too. I boot with 32.6MB with .141... I'm jealous. lol No themes.
