I did several searches and coundn't find anything on this issue... Any and all help is appreciated:

When attempting to tether to my storm, everything looks good. I click connect and the phone says "Modem Mode Enabled". The bottom status area on VZ Access says initializing and just locks up there. I click disconnect and it locks at disconnecting. I can't connect no matter if I reboot or whatever I do. I NEED HELP!!!

What machine OS, what Storm OS?

Windows XP Pro (latest SP)
Storm OS 4.7.0.85

Hmmm, that is strange. Seen this happen with Vista, but not XP. I would call verizon. Everytime I've had a problem with it they have been great and resolved the problem right away. Just tell them you are on .75 otherwise they will blame the beta. I have .86 and use VZA all the time.

Had same issue after 86 install remove vz access manager on computer thru add remove programs then completely reinstall it worked for me goodluck

I currently have a tier 1 "tech" on the line checking to see if tethering works on the storm... I have a feeling this is going to be a long call.
