On my 8830 I used an external Bluetooth GPS module and Telenav for turn-by-turn voice navigation. It worked great and saved my arse on many business trips.
When I heard that the GPS was unlocked on the Storm I was excited. One less gadget to keep charged and lug around.
Unfortunately, Telenav doesn't work on the Storm. It locks up and then crashes. I guess it's time to cancel my monthly re-bill and call tech support.
