    QUESTION:

When i go to options/advanced/TCP/IP i read the following:
    APN Settings Enabled
    APN: emg....
    APN Authentication Enabled
    Username for APN:
    Password for APN:
The first enabled appears checked, the second unchecked

What is the meaning or reason for that. And can it be changed and if so what would happen?
I just installed .113 and noticed this again while reviewing all that is installed.
    Thanks

Being on Porta you need to Change the APN to: wap.porta.com.ec

    No user name or password.

Most 3rd party apps use this access point for data.

    Definition:

The Internet Protocol Suite (commonly known as TCP/IP) is the set of communications protocols used for the Internet and other similar networks. It is named from two of the most important protocols in it: the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and the Internet Protocol (IP), which were the first two networking protocols defined in this standard.
