I'm not using Beta, so I didn't realize a qwerty portrait existed... so it's a full keyboard?? the buttons must be mad small..

SureType. Qwerty keys are just too small for me and coming from T9, it was easy to fall in love with SureType. Most of the time it gets the words right.

it's been 2 weeks w/ the storm and my typing accuracy with the full Qwerty is still relatively poor..
not sure if i should be disappointed in myself or the storm.

Ah Full QWERTY by far... Portrait or Landscape... The moment I updated to .109 I loved the portrait option.

Previously, I had a curve so I thought that full qwerty would be what I would use. However, after trying out sure type I really began to like the predictive input since a lot of times, I only need to type 2-3 letters before it finds my word and I can hit the enter key to auto complete it. This has helped me to increase my typing speed quite a bit.

Suretype is faster if you give it a try. If I have to type a specific password or email adress, then I flip to landscape.

But I would guess you can type about 25% faster and probably only touch the screen about 50% as much as with full qwerty.

And I am a converted believer. I wouldn't even consider a pearl in the past, but the storm made my try it.
