Vlingo is very cool. Works fine on my Storm. I'm wondering if anyone knows of an application that does the reverse-- reads aloud a received text message or an email. I've seen this on my friend's phone. (an LG Dare)
Thanks in advance. - 12-06-2008, 01:53 PM #6

I tried vlingo in the past with my curve and honestly it took more time to use it then actually writing out the text message...its not 100% spot on with accuracy and I constantly found myself going back and making corrections before I could send out the text or email. In the time it took to fix mistakes and speak in slow motion to get the program to recognize my words, I coulda sent out 3 text messages

Its cool at first, but that wears off with the frustration of never really getting the program to work 100% rightVito aka NY's Finest

i just downloaded Vlingo and it wont work
i changed all the settings to "allow" and it still wont start up.
Is it only available to US customers? Rogers is my carrier and it was one of the options to get it but then i just downloaded it right from my phone instead of getting the email sent where i chose Rogers. wonder if it makes a difference?
it says "error starting attempts to access a secure API"???
can anyone help with this? - 12-07-2008, 11:29 PM #13There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots.
