A friend of mine dropped his Storm in the sink. He let it dry, but no luck, it does not turn on whatsoever. He has since gotten a new phone, but he gave the old one to me to see if I can recover any of his phone numbers or pictures. I've taken it apart, but there's really not much to the thing. I have another Storm in perfect working condition that I can cannibalize to repair my friends, but I can't tell if there is any single piece I can remove that has all the data stored on it.

My question comes in three parts:

*Where (physically) does the Storm store its data?
*Is it possible to remove its data storage component and put it in another phone to retrieve its information?
*If hardware swapping isn't possible, is there any other way to recover the lost info?

And before anyone mentions it, insurance isn't possible, I've already tried replacing / charging the battery, and plugging it into a computer yields no results.

    Thanks for the help!
