Storm Typing Issues....

ok, I know how to type and am pretty good with the STORM but I am on my second STORM and having typing issues big time. Getting Bs instead of spaces alot and ALWAYS hitting the symbol key for some odd reason. Can someone suggest a setting or trick to eliminate this? I have read the settings threads but not sure which would address this type dilemma. the Bs instead of spaces are a real problem. I have pretty smallish fingers and no nails so that's not it. Which settings make it more effortless to type? Thanks.

Kinda @ loss but here's my take>

In order of severity of problem:

Options > screen/keyboard > experiment w/key rate, portrait view keyboard & touchscreen settings. Try normal, SureType, 100, 100, 6 first.

Battery pull (w/device on).

Reinstall OS.

Call ur carrier 2 see if replacement is advised.

If that doesn't work just keep usin it. I put an otterbox on my storm and wow is that different. I'm used to it now.

so it sounds like your not highlighting the correct key with your finger. And make sure that when you type use both hands, left half of keyboard use left thumb (or finger), right side of keyboard use right thumb (or finger).
