Okay, so I'm one of those lucky people that is on the edge of VZW's network, just good enough to connect to the network and get zero bars. On my 9530, if it starts searching for a network, it will connect to the Extended Network (Alltel 240) and I will have 5 bars, get email, browse the Internet fast, etc., at least until it reconnects to VZW. I set the SID of my wife's Razr to 240 and it stays on Alltel and works great. I tried to do the same on my 9530...

Home SID (changed from 4154 to ->) 240
Saved, device reset...

After reboot, it still acts like I didn't do a thing... It still connects to VZW 4154 by default and Alltel 240 secondarily. I've checked #4357*, it lists HomeSiD/HomeNID: 240,65535 and current SID is dependant on which network I'm attached to, usually 4154 (along with my 0 bars) or rarely 240 (with full bars).

Any ideas why I can't get it to stay on or default to Alltel 240?
