I'm getting my first and hopefully last storm replacement because of dust under the screen. Really didn't want to do this because I haven't had any problems with it. Will they look at the os (running .86) on the phone that I send back and if so should I install .75. The os has nothing to do with the dust under the screen but I would hate to have them charge me for the replacement.

I think to be safe I would reinstall the .75 I've seen a lot of threads where people have said the warantee was voided if yu were running a leaked os.

better safe than sorry. reinstall .75, then wipe it before you send it back.

Just replaced mine for the same reason last week at the VZ store, they never mentioned anything about the OS.
