well with RIM there's two things

1) they know their ****, so don't try to pull one over on 'em

2) they know their **** so they'll be able to help out

Just rang RIM UK, they said it can't be fixed through there 1 year manufacturers warranty, because it doesnt exist.. Vodafone as to repair it but my warranty with them is void because the contract got cancelled?

Also he said the warranty is void anyway because the phone as been unlocked?

None of that makes sense. Call back, and if the next rep sings the same tune (sometimes they'll just recite whatevers in the notes) ask for a supervisor.

Unlocking doesn't void warranty, the action of unlocking has no bearing on warranty. Most carriers go as far as writing in an unlock disclaimer.

So is there a 1 yer blackberry warranty, because a friend sent is phone to blackberry for repair once, because o2 wouldnt repair it.
