    I just noticed that Amazon.com and Wirefly are selling the Storm for $99.99. I payed 199.00 at a Verizon store just 3 weeks ago. Damn do I feel stupid. I want my 100.00 bucks back!

    If you want to get in on the BOGO deal, I do believe you can call Verizon up, or go into the store and they'll let you even though you bought your phone 3 weeks ago. I bought my phone during the deal, choose not to get the 2nd phone (my wife isn't sure she wants to pay the extra for a data plan), and they still are trying to push the second phone on us.

    Also, from my understanding of the Amazon deal fine print, the $99 price is only good for new activations, not upgrades. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that.

    Regarding the Amazon deal, I also remember reading you have to deal though them vs. Verizon directly if something goes wrong with the phone.

    I was due an upgrade, and verizon gave me my storm for 99 bucks. I did the BOGO deal, and walked away with 2 phones, 2 cases, a pack of (currently unopened) screen protectors for under 150.

    .. at least that's the story from a local VZW manager here in Boston, MA.. as well as Sales people via the VZW.com toll free number. I just purchased a Storm last month (big mistake.. too new and buggy, even with this leaked .103 OS) and am on my second one (bad screen on 1st one).... and have been calling to try to get an 8830 or new Curve with this BOGO deal and am getting shot down all over the place... They all say the same thing: "You only get a free one if you have a second line eligible for a 2 year renewal. Sorry."

    Soooo .... stinks..
