Go to options, then go to Screen/Keyboard and change the font from BBalphaSans or whatever the default was and choose BBJapanese.

The font looks fantastic when you go through menus.

It also makes simple text messages and e-mails look so much better

I don't either... Of course I don't install all the language options but I wouldn't think that would be it...

Casual makes the phone look cheap, pixelated, and unprofessional. Not to mention hard to read.

I prefer the original. I agree that BBJapanese looks cool at first, but there's a reason a sans serifs font is the default. It's easier to read a screen packed with text if there aren't serifs. Take, for example, the Crackberry website (or pretty much any other site). BBalphaSans is pretty uncomplicated...not the coolest, but it does the job.

I reinstalled the East Asian Character support for Japanese to get this font. It is a nice change... but I think I prefer BB Sans Alpha. Let's give it some time and see.

Yea after a little while there where if its lighter in color its hard to read. I guess it's because it feels very Times New Roman-y that I liked it at first. We'll see

Have you checked it out in bold? It's perfect in bold on my screen. And I don't really care if it looks unprofessional because I'm the only one who sees the font and it's my personal phone.
