I downloaded the software from the blackberry website and ran it on my computer, it got to near the end of the installation and it's frozen/stopped. I can't cancel the installation and it won't let me disconnect the device as it says it may wipe the data on my phone.

For the past hour or so, it has been trying to load the module "net_rim_bb_medialoader_backgrounds_360x480_t. cod"

Nothing seems to be happening and my phone is displaying a picture of the handset with an arrow pointing to a computer

I've tried phoning vodafone, but they were less than helpful. A similar situation when i phoned blackberry

Anything I can do to fix this?
