I just got my very first Blackberry (Storm) and I wanted to know how well the online security was on the Storm. I was going to download an app for my online purchases, but i wanted to ask around to see what everyone thought!

Well RIM is known for their encryption and security features that's why major companies use the devices for business.

As far as personal consumer usage, go into the options and you can set a couple of encryption features, also don't forget to set a password to unlock the device itself.

so far i havent had any issues with mine. ive had it for about a month now and so far have purchased a few things online.

I've used several Blackberry devices [Storm, Pearl, Curve] and I've never had an issue of any sort with their security.
