So far, so good. I've only had this new one for a couple of hours. Seems 1,000 times better than my 11-21 Storm already though.

yeah I just bought one for my wife last week and it night and day better than mine. If it wasn't for my screen being 30% brighter than every storm I've seen I would get a new one.

Im buying all the accessories I had once before. I shoulda kept that stuff Lol. Verizon bought it all back with no problem last time. I have to say, their customer service has been excellent lately.

Response is faster. My camera super lagged last time, this time not so much. When I would press things on the right the Storm would choose something on the left, I do not have that issue this time.

Now I will have to wait and see if it resets itself 5 times a day like my old one

i went thru the same situation.
i moved decided to switch providers grabbed an omnia..less than a week later..i was in the possession of a storm..no turning back now!

Yeah, I hate typing on the Storm but hey, maybe this will teach me not to be so much of a text head. Now if only I could get this darn WeatherBug App. I had it before but for some reason its just not working. Maybe I got the wrong URL

I can't stand WinMo personally. So even though the Omnia is a decent phone, I would never be able to use it.

I'm glad to hear someone say the Omnia is not a good choice. I almost got that one instead of the Storm just before Christmas. I came from the XV6700, which I still like only because I hacked the crap out of it. Since the leaked OS's have come out for the Storm, it has gotten much better. I do miss some of the apps that were available on the 6700, but so far I haven't found anything I couldn't live without, and the Storm is much easier to use! I guess I'm an official "crackberry" now!

My gf had an Omnia and whenever she couldn't figure something out with it.. she looked to me. So I had a lot of hands on time with it.

Being honest.... terrible. Specs/stats were actually solid and the phone on paper sounded awesome. I almost picked it over the Storm in the first place but after some hands on time... I am here using my Storm and enjoying it.

i did the same thing last week. i was frustrated with my storm and i traded it for an OMNIA...i tried to use it. it was no BB. i couldnt grasp the quasi-windows thing. i went back 3 days later and got another storm,all accessories, etc. i also had a 70 dollar rebate from the omnia, which they told me to keep. there was also a 70 dollar difference in phone price so after buying more screen protectors, i had my debit card credited 40 bucks...talk about customer service!

I had an omnia for a month before I got the storm. I hated that thing. The storm is a far superior device even with its flaws.

Has anyone noticed in about the past week there has been a flood of "Omnia to Storm" posts? Im liking people realizing the WinMo is not the way to go.
