Received a new storm from verizon after my last one stopped working. I can not get this storm to work as a usb storage device. With my old storm I would just plug it into any computer and it would show up under my computer and I could easily store and erase music from there. I have been threw all the steps on the phone for it to work . deleted drives from the computer and downloaded the updates from blackberry and it still does not show up. Have tried on many computers. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problems.

did you turn the mass storage mode on in the memory settings?

It might be the phone. A friend had the same issue. If the Enable Mass Storage mode is on but no luck in getting it to work then bring it back to VZW.

yes i have turned all the correct options on and still no luck, guess will have to move on to replacement number 2

Ditto aberk07. I had the same thing happen as the OP. Follow that thread and the problem is solved.
