My 8330 synched contacts with my car w/o fail. My new Storm does not. The car is set as trusted blah blah. I know that a Bold works as well because I paired up my father-in-law's Bold with his 2008 RS4 over the weekend. Any ideas?

Here is what I did on my BMW;

paired the phone, all was well. I went to the Storm menu and tried to "Send Contacts" it gave me a message that it failed BUT 2 minutes later they were in my phonebook on the car. Make sure you giv eit some time to load.

Hmm. My 2004 TL won't sync at all.. I've sent my address book successfully, but apparently you have to add each contact individually. Perhaps your car is the same.

Works good in my Audi A8L

Make sure you have your 8830 OFF if its in the car. My Storm could not find the car until I realized I had my 8830 in my coat pocket and it was still on. I turned it off, then told the storm to search again and it found it immediately with no issues.

I think mine works with my Dad's Mercedes CLS 500, and my moms Mercedes GL 450...

I haven't paired them, because my parents have their phones paired, but it recognizes the car...

btw, S4s are cool, my brother in law has a tricked out Audi S8, i love it!

The phone paired fine. I noticed with the Bold in the RS4 that it took a few minutes and the contacts were in. It was the same when I had my Curve. With the Storm, after many minutes, the button on the steering wheel that is used to switch to contacts on the dash says Button Not Used. So basically the contacts are not making it to the car. I'll try and do a drop and re-pairing later. Thanks.

My curve did not sync all contacts in my 2009 A4 but does with my Storm....

My Veyron syncs perfectly...however I can't hear it anyway due to the growl of the 16 cylinders behind my head...

I dropped and re-paired last night and it worked. However this time I set the device to sync all contacts and not the Hotlist. Could it be because the device is new, that it has yet to fill the Hotlist?
