    Default Storm Locked

Help! My ***** friend changed my password and locked my storm. Of course it is not backed up and of course he does not remember exactly what he changed it to. I am now on my last chance to get in without it erasing itself with to more possibilities of what the password could be. I went to Verizon to at least port my contacts and pics to my old phone but they cannot do that either because it is locked.

Any tips and way around this? I just need a few more tries.

Hook to DM, you should be able to do a backup of your contacts, emails, etc. You probaly wont get your third party apps.

Then mess up the PW once more, wipe, re-install the OS, then grab your backup

I am hoping I can do a backup to my desktop by the guy at RIM still thinks it will ask for my password and only give me one try. I'll see when I get home.
He was messing with me on purpose but just did not realize the insane repercussions of is joke. SHEESH

sorry dude...sucks to be you. ALWAYS create a backup file.

i sync my contacts and stuff to my yahoo email account, and i use google sync too (just trying it out, so far its kinda difficult to keep from getting duplicate calendar events.) so that my contacts' info is always saved somewhere.
