im curious, i see vodaphone people unboxing there phones with the battery and all still out of the phone. does vodaphone not require the phone to be activated before leaving or was this just for the purpose of pictures?
Hey I know this phone is out in the UK .. thats where I am right now. I have been patiently waiting for this phone for most of this year since the rumours started whirring around.
My problem is I don't live in the UK I live in the Cayman Islands. However we have great Blackberry coverage with LIME and I really wanted to go from smartphone with crap data plan to blackberry, and now i can keep the touchscreen. Trouble is I can't take a locked vodaone blackberry storm home with me (or can i ?).. can i buy one that isn't Vodafone rigged here in the UK ?
If not how can i get one of these phones so I can use it where i live ! and i don't want to wait ! lol
Phone has some weight to it even without the battery fitted. The Storm also comes with a pre-installed screen protector which I wasn't expecting. The battery cover is made out of metal which is a nice touch
Build quality is very very nice indeed. Totally different league to the iPhone infact.
I'm off now to back up my Blackberry Curve, install the software for the Storm on my computer. I will be back soon.
