Storm crashes and reboots with not enough battery for radio use

My storm of 2 years has been having major issues crashing recently. Sometimes multiple times a day, my storm will crash randomnly, sometimes when I'm playing brickbreaker, other times randomnly including me not even using the phone. When it reboots, it has not enough battery for radio use, regardless of how full the battery was before the crash.

I can't remember if I installed blackberry app world (for some reason it went missing on my phone) before or after the crashes started, but otherwise there would be no difference before and after the crashes started.

Should I try a new battery? Should I uninstall app world?

What I'd recommend you is that
1) backup all what's important to you.
2) remove the memory card after a hard reboot - check if issue persists.
3) Boot up the device in the safe mode and check if issue persists. Blackberry Safe Boot - (All Models - All OS Versions)
4) If the issue still persists then you need to go ahead with a device wipe and OS reinstall - Instructions Force wipe a blackberry that does not work. (All Models - All OS versions)

Forgot to mention that I re-formatted the memory card so it has nothing on it, problem still happened today. Removing card and SIM card completely, if problem persists (after I uninstall app world too), I will go with the wipe tactic. Thanks.

With a two year old Storm, it is likely the battery. Try someone else's if you can or buy a new one.
