My husband attempted to buy me a storm today for Christmas. Futureshop and Telus both advertised them in stock (in limited qty in some stores) today. So he tried... I'm already on a three year contract. One Telus store said if I came in with him, I could get it for the 3 yr contract price rather than the $599. I don't think that's right. Its not what I was told before. Anyway they didn't have any in stock and would only put him on a waiting list if he had a telus phone number. Next stop Best Buy - they had none in stock until January but will only sell them to new customers once they come in. Looks like I'm not getting a storm for some time...

yupz it is a very wanted device. RIM is having trouble keeping up with stock.

Tell me about it. I had to drive 2.5 hours south into a bigger area to buy one for an insane price (Not qualified for upgrade price yet ) and drive 2.5 hours back home.
