Have people been able to get data services and what not on centennial? If so are there any special steps I'll need to take to get it workin? I may be finally upgrading from my 8310 tomorrow but I don't wanna if I cant use all the features..
Ok, I realize that it has the capability to use the storm being they are a GSM network (I did say I was using an 8310), I was wondering about service books and all that fun stuff, internet, email, BBM...
You would need to get the Centennial service books on to the Storm. Proceedure have been developed to do this for ATT & Tmo, perhaps you should check out those threads in the How To Forum and try to adapt the proceedure.
Yeah, you will need a pc because we will need to use Desktop manager. I'm eastern time too, but won't be home until around 9pm. Just shoot me a PM around then if that's good for you. The good news is it will work. We just need to tweak you some service books. Then you will follow the same steps HERE Just using the CW books.
Alright sweet thank you very much pltaylor but I just realized without this being unlocked I cant really test it eh? I guess you can help me get the books off my curve and tweak and then when I get my storm unlocked I can test it then. Thanks
Hmm... awesome. Unique phones did the trick and it appears that there were service books on there already becasue I'm totally getting emails and browsing the web? atleast I think I'm getting emails.. have to test that in a sec. but i'm on the web and stuff with EDGE coverage. Thanks for your help guys!!
