Seems like when I do speed dial in car the BT does not engage - I hear it click as if it is connected, it shows on the screen but you hear nothing. I have to select speaker on the phone & then toggle back to BT and only then does it connect. Plus it doesn't happen all of the time so there's no real rhyme or reason. It has worked in the past. I use Pioneer AVIC-D3.

I'm having the same problem with my Jabra BT 8040. It seems like the first time I paired it, everything worked fine, but I've lost features over time. I deleted the device and re-paired it, but no go... Voice dial doesn't engage with the bluetooth button anymore either.
