Hi, my blackberry storm has just developed a major bug by automatically making calls without me touching any buttons. When the phone is unlocked the contact list will just come up and automatically call the first person in the list. I then obviously hit the red button to cancel but it happens again after a few seconds again and again.
Ive done a battery pull, handset wipe and restored the software to a previous version and no luck.
Please help as i cant use the phone with this bug popping up all the time.

I did drip couple of spots of water on it a couple of weeks back now, but has worked perfectly until now, how would the water cause the problem im having?
If water got inside the phone, it could have started corrosion that has now shorted your send key. A few drops of non-salty water on the screen aren't likely to cause any problem though.

You already wiped the phone and reinstalled the OS and it still does that same thing?
Literally started today and i cant use the phone now as it goes to the contact all the time.
Ive wiped the phone and reinstalled (tried upgrading and downgrading) the OS with no applications selected, still no luck.
I starting to wonder if there is a problem with the green call button on the phone because if you do press it it does go straight to the contact list but there seems nothing wrong with it to me, ive not dropped it or caused anything to start it!
