I am looking into buying a blackberry storm off of craigslist with a clean esn but comes with no sim. I am using with verizon, but was just wondering if i need a sim card to activate it or can they just use the esn? and if i do need the sim, will i be able to purchase one from verizon and activate it? thank you
If youre using it with verizon there is no need for a sim although you must be certain that the ESN is clean. If you plan on going oversees or any GSM network youll just need to unlock the phone and insert a sim.
