That is all I paid at Best Buy last month when I got the phone.

Started as $149.99 w/qualified upgrade, at which point I bought my Storm.

Then the next week they dropped it to $99.99 w/qualified upgrade, so I went back with my receipt, and they debited my account for the difference. So, I got it for $99.99.

Yeah, I got mine back in March and that's all I paid, after 2-year contract renewal and mail in rebate offer.

This price is for new customers. You would have gotten it free with your Ne2 credit.

I wasn't technically eligible for NE2, but I absolutely hated my last phone (Voyager) and Verizon offered me 2-year contract price on the Storm, so I took it.

For the record, I couldn't be happier with the Storm. I had "work" blackberries before, so I knew what I was getting into.

It would figure ... I got my Storm about 3wks ago, $219 - $70 rebate. Now they drop the price .. I don't suppose anyone knows if Verizon will credit my account if I call them to complain about the price drop? I'm still w/in the 30 days of new.

i think they will credit your phone. and if not you can just return and repurchase the phone. talk to a customer service rep at your VZW location and i am sure if they won't credit you it they will to the return/purchase but just go through the motions not actually make you return the physical device... you follow?

And I am suprised at how the price has plummeted since the phone was released. But since the Storm 2 is coming out soon and the Tour was just released it doesn't surprise me I guess... I guess its just the actual price not that the price is dropping.

Yes, I follow ... thanks! I think I'll give them a call. A lot of stores do that thing where they honor a lower price at a competitor or refund the difference if they themselves drop a price w/in X days so it can't hurt to ask.

I got mine for about $80 after tax, with all the rebates and promtions in March.

$150
New every two -$50
Buy one Get one Free /2

I added my friend to the account and he paid half, which covered his phone. That brought mine down to $80... Then my next bill was stuck with a bunch of hidden fees.
