Storm 9530 Screen Double Clicking (VERY ANNOYING!!!!)

Hi, I have a 9530 storm that I purchased two months ago, It worked quite fine until a few weeks ago. It started double clicking and freezing at the same time. For example, lets say i want to enter the sms option, i would click it, but clock would open instead. Also if i try to scroll up or down, there will be no response....... This is quite annoying to me because i am trying to run a business using the phone as a communication medium. I read a million forums all saying to check memory, close apps etc but its a fairly new phone, i have no second gen apps, and internal memory of 41mb, so im baffled. Please help because the phone is about to see my wall!!!!!!!

Hi. I have been facing the same problem. Dont have a solution, but yes a workaround.

1) Lock the handset, and rub the screen vigorously against some soft cotton. It'll get you a feeling of resetting the touch panel.
2) Reboot the handset.
3) Are you sure you dont press your screen a bit too hard? That causes disorientation.

Step 1 gets my handset working fine everytime.
