Hey, I'm new at the forum.
My cousin has a BB Storm 9530 with Verizon, I watch a thread here on how she could get the unlock code free from Verizon, she's planning on getting another phone and wants to sell it to me.
I'll be using it in a Mexican network called Telcel, they sell the BB Storm 9500.
My question is, if we manage to unlock the Storm, will it work on my carrier? I went to a representative and he said that it was a 50/50 change the data will work on their network, because sometimes the equipment is not completely unlocked, but if the carrier (Verizon) unlocks it, I should be fine, right?
