Does anyone know why when i try to open up pictures on the storm to the full screen view it takes so long, ive timed it and it takes about 40 seconds to open a picture. but once it does swiping to the next picture is smooth, but its a hassle when i wanna jump around from picture to picture! any tips?
This mostly happens when you don't close previous programs properly ie after using a program close it via hitting the Blackberry button(next to the green call button) and when you get the pop up which appears on the lefthand side scroll to the bottom select close,do this after you use any program and you'll be okay.

Check which applications r currently running/open via holding down bb/menu key 2 pull up app switcher scroll bar (browser, home, msgs, phone + bb msgr, if u have, always display).
Further suggestions:
Camera/video > menu > options > store pics/vids > on media card.
Daily/weekly battery pull (w/device on) & deletion of msgs/call log entries/all in browser cache.
