I recently was given a Storm 2 at work. They shipped it to my house so I have some time to play with it before they cripple it with their IT policies. From what I hear they kill the camera and the ability to send and receive picture messages. I was wondering if there is ANY way around the IT policies? Is there a third party camera application that will not be recognized by the IT policies? I hate to think I would have to carry a personal phone just to take a photo of my daughter going down a slide or something.

No, there's no way around a legitimate IT Policy. Security is one of RIM's main selling points in corporate environments. Buy a small digital camera. You'll get better pictures as a bonus.
