I've got the insurance via Asurion and I'm thinking about dropping it. I take really good care of my phone so I don't think I'll need it but then this question came to mind....

If my Storm 1 does get damage/destroyed or lost, are there any Storm 1's left to replace it with or would they replace it with the Storm 2??

They say they would replace it with a comparable phone if the original is no longer available.

So my question to you all is, has anyone had to file an insurance claim and in return, received a Storm 2??

They are still handing out Storm 1's...there are still new ones around and plenty of refurbs.

I usually only keep insurance for about the first 6 months and then drop it.
