Ok, I have an unlocked storm that I'm running on ATT. I did the whole process so I could use the browser/send mms and etc. I have the desktop software version 4.6 that I downloaded from BB. I can't install themes because it says "no additional applications for your device found".
If I go to the BB website, it shows a desktop manager to use for ATT but no device specific software for the storm.
SO- do I download the ATT desktop manager or keep the one I have? The one I have works fine- it's download 460_b027. When I use it, however, and use the app uploader it only shows 2 apps on my phone which is like notes or something like that.
How do I update my software? What do I do so that I can download themes and see all of the apps on my phone?
I'm so confused (

You should be using the 4.7 version of Desktop Manager. Whether or not it's carrier specific doesn't matter. I'd be willing to bet it would fix a bit of your issues.
For themes, if they need to be downloaded to the computer, install the .alx that comes in the zip folder. If they are OTA, you need to click on the OTA link from your Storm's browser.

As Savio says, the DM you have should work fine. As to themes and apps, try getting them on your phone (through OTA) for now. It would probably be easier. My opinion would be to wait on the themes. Some work well, but many are notorious for memory leaks (slowing down your phone). Take a look at this stuff:

Sorry if I seem like a complete ditz...I think I am one haha

Also- does it matter that I'm running .75? Could that have something to do with DM or anything?

yes and yes
1) for the specific email for ur phone, u can set one up via email settings and set a bb email
2) if u have ur regular email pushed to ur bb, u can open the ur email via ur bb and open the link in there
