Verzion is getting the HTC Touch Pro and I'm thinking uh-oh. Storm is getting some competition and my friend has this phone for sprint and I liked it, a little thick, but I liked it.

U know I saw a dummy for Sprint at Best Buy; it is a nice phone. But the screen size is a deal breaker for me. I was following both new HTC devices til I saw and started researching the Storm. I am now looking forward to seeing what the BB os is all about as well. What ever cranks your tractor!

The HTC Touch may look good, but as sooks said I think the Storm with blow it away. Its the first BB touchscreen gives it big hype right there, and RIM's innovation of SureClick will have mouths talking for a long time.

The Touch Pro is not direct competition to the Storm or iPhone. The Touch HD would have been, but HTC is not brining that to the US. Sigh.

do we have a release for the touch for verizon
Not really. Engadget was saying possibly Nov. 14th, but there isn't even any training for the Touch Pro (XV6850) on Verizon's training sheet for November that requires employees to be trained on a phone prior to it's release. But, then again, stranger things have happened.

The touch pro is a brick. Heaviest smartphone IMO, heavier than the Tilt. I was playing with a real model in my Ex's store (Sprint) and it felt like I was really holding a small brick... no thanks!

I saw the all touch HTC and it looked cheesy. I do have the xv6800; and probably would have gotten the Touch Pro or Omnia. But I saw the Storm.
Kept me omn VZW the rest is history.

Ugh, Windows OS will doom that phone. Besides, Sureclick....after that, all other touchscreens will feel old and silly.
