so confused!!

okay so i just bought a blackberry storm unlocked from someone it was originally under the verizon network. i put my t-mobile sim card in and it read it just fine

but then i go to the menu and i don't see the browser anywhere... there is litterally nothing on this phone.. no games.. no apps i don't even see the app world anywhere or anything... i use to have a curve so i know somewhat about blackberry's but with this storm im super confused and don't know what to do to get the browser back or the app world and i also don't know how to get the MMS and WAP browers to work? i can make calls and text but that's about it since there's pretty much nothing on the phone

can i please get some help

cus that way says that you could fck up your phone if yuo do it wrong and i reallly don't wanna mess up this blackberry

T-Mobile does not sell the Storm and never did in the past. Therefore, the service books need to be loaded manually. There is no other way to install the proper service books that are necessary to get all of the features working.

If you do not follow the procedure in that thread, your device will only be capable of phone calls and SMS (MMS will not even work).

No there's not, you need those special service books to get your data working.

Just follow the instructions and you won't have any issues. That Crackutil program can do some scary things to your phone, but for what you'll be using it for there's no need to worry.

Also, it's almost impossible to completely ruin your phone beyond repair. There are some scary things that can happen, but they're usually all fixable.
