    How long has this been going on. If it just happened recently I would wait a day it might be a service issue.

    It honestly just happened like.. 10 minutes ago.. i was talking to a friend then i started getting the red X and it showed that message at the top..

    I'm on Verizon and having the same problem. Its probably an outage.

    yeah because blackberry email had an outage recently. Just reset your phone and see if it works. If it doesn't help just give it a day.
