    Hello. My phone is being very slow when I click on an unread message. I haven't deleted a text since I've gotten it, 3 weeks ago. Will this cause it to be slow? Or is that just the OS? I have it set to keep my messages forever, will it help to delete my messages? And set it to 15 days? What do you people have your phones set to, to keep SMS messages

    i keep everything and it runs decently - just dont have a lot of third party apps...

    If you hold the bb button for a few seconds it will tell you what is running there should be only 5. If you have more running it will slow it down

    I have quite a bit of third party apps but I always close them when done. And they're never running in the background. Even after a battery pull and not opening anything it is still slow at opening messages. And that's the only thing that is slow. Everything else is fast and not a problem
