Sorry, I am so new to the whole BB thing. Anyway I bought this storm off of a guy and where is says "your phone number" it is displaying his and not mine, is there any way to change this? Sorry is this is in the wrong place. I did a search and did not find anything. Cheers.

I had this question just yesterday. A member here told me to dial ##000000 and you will see the "mobile directory number" and can change it there.

I'm trying that as we speak and I get an "invalid password" error

Are you dialing ##000000 and then Send. I am in manual programming right now and I don't see a place to change the programming password.

I went to the phone and dialed ##000000 and then pressed send. What am I doing wrong?

don't press send it should just open and onlty change the number nothing else press save of bb button your done

I must be ********. I open my dialer and enter ##000000 (6 zeros) and I wait, nothing happens.

I don't know if this helps or not considering I'm a newbie too. But, when I called
to change my voice mail and enter my name. It showed up on my phone? I
never entered my name into the phone, but after calling and making a voice
mail recording along where it asks you to leave your name. I did and then it
showed up. Weird?
