I am getting a "Sim card error" message! Do I even need a sim card for Verizon. If so how do I get rid of the message...........it started last night after I completely drained the battery. When I plugged it in to charge that's when it showed up. After batt pull it went away....but its back tonight any suggestions?

You do not need the sim card as long as you are using Verizon.
The same message appears on my phone, I just ignore it. When I reset the phone or load a new OS it goes away for from one to three days and then reappears again. It does not impact the use of my phone.
