Default signal receptions sucks on .148 is .151 better?

Hi,
Ever since i've upgrade to Verizons official 148 os, the radio is so bad i can't use my phone inside my house. With the prior OS i had, maybe 130 something, i had no problems and had almost full signal in my house. Is the radio better in the151 leaked OS than 148? Anyone have any input? I don't want to upgrade unless its going to help just trying to get some input.
Thanks

If you read the comments in this forum you would think the best radio is with .167.

I'll be honest. No matter what radio I'm running it looks the same as far as signal strength but I'm in a bit of a rural area located next to a huge hill so I may not be getting a good signal. What I suggest you do is just try the .151 upgrade and see if that works for you. If it doesn't then you can either go back, upgrade to .167, or try a hybrid (recommended).

Currently what I'm running is lyricidal's 6v10 and I've swapped the .151 radio for .167. It's not that hard to do, definitely worth looking into.

From my experience, there is not much difference between .148 & .151. In fact in my area I think .148 was slightly better. But I'm sure it will vary from cell area to cell area. So you will just have to try and are what works best for you.

You have .151 already installed on your computer, correct? If you're running lyricidal's hybrid to the correct file you already deleted the vendor .xml file so that shouldn't be a problem. Once you've downloaded it Shrink a OS will also launch. At that time you can swap your radio IF it's version 9.0 (I think). If not you'll download another version of Shink a OS then you can swap the radio file.

OK, When you get ready to download the file over .151 "Shrink a OS" will pop up. On the right there is a "swap my radio." Select .167 and click on the botton below. If .167 isn't listed then you will need to obtain another copy of Shirink a OS from here. Just read carefully down the list until you find the link. Hopefully lyricidal has updated his Shrink a OS so you don't have to do that.

Once you've swapped the radio shrink your OS if you'd like then it will prompt to launch app loader. Proceed with your install.

I would say yes. 151 is probable the best out there right now. everything works, all apps and all themes, but 5.0.0.191 is great some themes work, and once facebook 1.7 is out should be great.

.151 may be about the best thing out there but not everything works. There is a known bug with streaming applications like Pandora. And if you have certain headsets like Jawbone and others voice dialing cannot be done without a hybrid.

Yes you now have BBM 5.0, I think you'll find it a huge improvement over 4.7. And just for fun, try finding some bar codes around the crackberry forum and check out that feature.
